Gold plating will naturally wear over time, and how long it lasts depends on use and care.

Factors such as sunlight, heat, moisture, and the natural pH level of the skin can all affect the finish. This is not considered a manufacturing defect, but normal wear that occurs over time.

Proper care helps preserve the beauty of your jewellery and can significantly extend its lifespan.

We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, using a sauna or steam room, exercising, or sleeping.

Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, and cleaning products, and allow these to dry fully before putting your jewellery on.

Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, ideally in a jewellery box or soft pouch.

All of our products are nickel- and lead-free and are therefore suitable for most people with sensitive skin.

Yes! We ship within Iceland and all around the world. 🌎🌍🌏

📦 Orders are usually packed within 1–2 business days.

📬 Delivery within Iceland usually takes 1–3 days from the time your parcel is handed over to the postal service.

✈️ International delivery generally takes 5–14 days, depending on the destination and the shipping service selected.

Yes, once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number, so you can follow its journey until it arrives

If you need to make changes to or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@dufa.is. Unfortunately, once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be changed or cancelled, but we will always do our best to help if any issues arise.

All orders are shipped with trusted carriers. If a shipment is lost or experiences an unusual delay, we will assist in tracking it down.

Please note that Dúfa is not liable for loss or damage once an order has been handed over to the carrier, but we will always follow up and do our best to help find a solution if any issues arise.

This depends on the rules in your home country. All orders are shipped from Iceland, which is outside the European Union.

This means that orders above a certain value may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import fees when they arrive in your country.

The invoice included with your order shows the actual purchase value of your jewellery.

After your order has been handed over to the carrier, shipping times and delivery issues are subject to the carrier’s service. If your shipment is delayed or appears to be lost, please contact us and we will assist where possible.

Yes, unused and undamaged items can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of receiving your order. However, for hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged.

Refunds are issued by bank transfer.
